Everything you need to know about using Festivly.
Finding Displays
- •Use the Browse Displays page to see all approved listings
- •Filter by city, state, or category using the filter bar
- •Click "Near Me" to find displays close to your current location
- •Use the Map View for a visual overview of displays in any area
- •Use the Charity filter to find displays supporting good causes
- •Check the "On Now" indicator to see which displays are currently lit
Creating an Account
- •Click "Sign up" in the top navigation bar
- •Choose your role: Visitor (browse, rate, save) or Display Owner (list displays)
- •Enter your name, email, and a password
- •You can upgrade to Display Owner later from your profile
- •Your account is free and always will be
Listing Your Display
- •Register as a Display Owner and go to your Dashboard
- •Click "Add New Display" and fill out the required fields
- •Click "Find Location on Map" to geocode your address
- •Upload photos (up to 10, max 5MB each)
- •Submit for review — most listings are approved within 24-48 hours
- •Edit your display anytime from the Dashboard
Using the Map
- •The interactive map shows all approved displays as markers
- •Click any marker to see display details and a link to the full page
- •Use your browser's location permission to center the map on you
- •Zoom in and out to explore different areas
Favorites & Routes
- •Click the heart icon on any display to save it to your favorites
- •View all favorites from the "My Favorites" page in the navigation
- •Create a route in "My Routes" and add displays as stops
- •The route planner provides directions between stops
Ratings & Comments
- •Click the stars on a display page to leave your rating (1-5 stars)
- •Scroll down to the comments section to share your experience
- •You can also reply to other visitors' comments
- •Upload your own photos from the "Share Your Photo" section
Photos
- •Display owners can upload photos when creating or editing a listing
- •Visitors can upload photos from the display detail page
- •Accepted formats: JPEG, PNG, WebP (max 5MB per photo)
- •The first photo is used as the primary image in search results
Reporting Issues
- •On any display page, click "Report a Problem" in the sidebar
- •Choose a reason: wrong address, display removed, not working, spam, or other
- •Add any additional details to help us investigate
- •Our team reviews all reports and takes appropriate action
Account & Privacy
- •Update your profile and location from the Profile page
- •Your email is never shown publicly on the site
- •Display owners' names appear on their listings
- •To delete your account, contact us through the Contact page
